The Hague is a beautiful city of international importance with many faces. Once little more than a country house near a pond, The Hague has developed into the third largest city of the Netherlands. Nevertheless it’s still known today as ‘the largest village of Europe’, and is full of history and royalty.
On this citytrip a tourguide will take us to several places of royal interest, the seat of Dutch political power and through the historical center with its many beautiful statues and buildings.
After the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the city on your own. You may want to visit the Noordeinde Palace, the Historical Museum, the big shopping centre, try some fresh herring at the Scheveningen beach, or simply indulge yourself in the many beautiful streets, lanes and alleyways.
Costs for this trip are €16,00. This includes the guided tour and a retour ticket to The Hague (normally the train ticket alone costs €18,00) and may also be used to visit other cities in The Netherlands, in case you might want to see the nearby cities of Leiden, Haarlem, Delft or Rotterdam.
The guided tour starts at 14.00. We gather at the Vu (main entrance ) on Saturday 26th November at 12.00
